DROP-IN DREAMGROUPS
These drop-in sessions are for folks of all levels of experience to practice feelings-focused, community-oriented group dreamwork. We’ll begin with some introductions and a basic orientation to the process before spending the majority of the session on one single dream, volunteered by one of the group. The process (which involves “borrowing” the dream and sharing personal responses to it) is designed to be creative and fulfilling for all participants, not only the dreamer.
Each session is 1.5 hrs, and will be held online. Proceeds will benefit Indigenous Climate Action; I suggest a rate of $15-65 CAD. This donation is optional, with NOTAFLOF (no one turned away for lack of funds). I hope to run one drop-in a month, with the next one scheduled for Monday, Nov 23rd, 2026. The session will be capped at 15 participants, and sign-up is first-come first-serve. Once registered, folks can expect a follow-up email with the zoom link and other pertinent info. Anyone with questions or who wants to touch base in advance is welcome to reach out to me; otherwise, I’ll see you there!
Folks looking for more didactic material should keep an eye out for future dream salons, while those looking for a more sustained, closed group for dreamwork may be interested in my multi-week dream groups. To hear about new offerings, sign up to my email list.
About me:
I’m a white Anglo settler in Montreal with a longtime interest in my own and others’ dreams. This interest has taken various forms across my life: it’s shaped my writing practice, coloured my relationships, and often been a highlight in my clinical work as a psychotherapist.
Importantly, these sessions are not group therapy, though my facilitation will doubtless be informed by my clinical training, as well as by my academic background in philosophy and art, and by myriad other life experiences and social positions.
Feel free to send me a message.
